Description: Harbour Bridge in Bratislava (Pristavny Most, in the past Most hrdinov Dukly) is a major double-floor motorway-railroad truss bridge over Danube in Bratislava, Slovakia, near the Bratislava river harbour.
Harbour Bridge lies on the D1 motorway. It is 599 m (1080 m with access roads) long bridge (over Danube part), and it was built from 1977 to 1985. On the bridge there are also pathways for pedestrians and cyclists.
Today, Pristavny Most in Bratislava suffers from heavy traffic, because it is route for many commuters from Petrzalka (although situation got bit better after opening Apollo Bridge in 2005) and it was built to handle around 60.000 vehicles/24 hours, but commonly there are 100.000 vehicles/24 hours or more.
